The Presbyterian Manor Independent Living Community consists of both private apartments and cottages. Adjoining but separate to the main building is the Perkins-Prothro Health Care Center providing short and long-term nursing care around-the-clock.
Both facilities were opened to the public in 1980 and share a 12½ acre campus. In 2007, a third facility was added to the organization at a nearby location. The Earle W. Crawford House of Hope serves those with Alzheimer’s and dementia and is the only dedicated Alzheimer’s facility in the region. The campus also accepts residents in two wings for short or long-term care needs without a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s or dementia.
