Better Health - Diet vs. Exercise - Part 3

How can we benefit from all this information?

The bottom line- if you want to lose weight and be healthy, adjust your diet and exercise.

Cut your calorie intake by 400-500 calories per day. You could do this by limiting sugar and carbohydrates. Drink more water. We'll be posting some simple calorie trackers soon. Your diet may get a little boring for a while, but you will not go hungry.

Now exercise will deliver benefits you may not have expected. Physical activity will improve your mood. Over time your diet may change naturally because the new, healthier you won't want to put less nutritious foods such as bread, pasta, potatoes, and sweets into that wonderful body of yours.

Losing weight (and improving your health) is simple, but not always easy. It takes discipline and some work, too. But if you are looking forward to a long life, you will enjoy it much more if you are maintaining a healthy weight, have good balance and posture, strong muscles, health lungs and good circulation.

You are worth it, right?
