Lesson #1: Fit People Come in All Shapes
Fit people come in every shape and size. Shape isn't a look.
The ability to live the life you want, have energy, and enjoy your body's natural knack for movement is what fitness is. Strength, endurance, mobility, immunity, and even brain health are more important than appearance.
It's fine if you want to lose weight. It's fine if it's not.
Lesson #2: Age and Disease Aren't Exercise Barriers
Older adults or those with multiple health issues can benefit the most from exercise. We hear people every day whose lives have been saved by exercise.
Many students have improved their mobility and independence over time.,
Don't focus on what you can't do right now or your workout limitations. Instead, think about what you might be able to do one day thanks to safe exercise.
What does safe exercise mean to you? Be sure to check with your doctor first.
3rd Fitness Lesson: Challenges Make You Stronger
Overcoming physical obstacles makes people stronger in life,” Barry says.

Remember, pushing yourself shouldn't hurt.
A commitment to fitness requires a mindset that embraces hard work, play, and self-expression. And it's much easier when you're having fun.
Keep looking for a workout that excites you. Finding the right type of exercise or group fitness class for you is the key to true fitness.
