It used to be that you could go to the Social Security website to enroll in Medicare only. You’d simply answer a few questions and you were done in about 10 minutes. But now there’s a new twist. Before you get to the enrollment questions, you must log into your “my Social Security” account. If you don’t have one, you must establish one, and that’s where you can run into problems.
